Many people have heard of ‘MIC’ injections, or it least heard of the acronym in passing. It stands for L-Methionine, Inositol, and Choline. *These are lipotropic agents that are believed to support liver function and promote the excretion of fat. L-Methionine is an amino acid. Inositol and choline are cofactors. *Together they may aid in the mobilization and elimination of abnormal fat deposits and help increase metabolism.

L-Methionine is an essential amino acid, which means that it is not synthesized in humans. Therefore we must consume methionine or methionine-containing proteins. Foods that contain high levels of methionine include cheese, eggs, fish, meats, spinach, potatoes, Brazil nuts, sesame seeds, and some other plant seeds. *However, by injecting L-Methionine into the muscle we may be able to achieve high levels in the body’s tissues and this is believed to result in more effective mobilization and elimination of abnormal fat deposits.

*Other reported benefits of L-methionine include improvement of liver disease, improvement of skin tone and elasticity, nails, and hair; improvement of cardiovascular and muscular functions through its role in the production of creatine. *It has been used to treat premature ejaculation, chronic depression, pancreatitis, Parkinson’s disease, and AIDS myelopathy.

*Individual results may vary.

Inositol is involved in many biological processes, including the breakdown of fats and reduction of serum cholesterol, serotonin activity modulation, gene expression, and insulin signal transduction. It is not considered a vitamin because the body is able to synthesize it.

*In some cases, inositol has been shown to be helpful for the treatment of depression, panic disorder, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and fatty liver. *It also promotes healthy hair growth and it is important for optimal metabolism and brain function. Inositol deficiency may manifest as symptoms of constipation, high cholesterol, vision problems, and hair loss.

Although it is naturally found in certain foods such as nuts, beans (especially red beans and kidney beans), grains, cantaloupe melons, and oranges, *it is more effective in breaking down fat when given as an intramuscular injection.

*Individual results may vary.

Choline, in addition to helping transport fatty deposits out of the liver, choline can help maintain the nervous system and memory, and is considered an essential nutrient. *Choline is a fat emulsifier which aids in emulsifying cholesterol so that it does not settle on arterial walls.

*Individual results may vary.

Our injections also contain:

Thiamine (B1) – *This B vitamin helps to break down carbohydrates and converts them into energy.
Riboflavin (B2) – *Riboflavin plays a role in the process of metabolizing fat, protein, and carbohydrates.
Niacinamide (B3) – *This is essential for the health of your digestive system. B3 works with other b-complex vitamins to metabolize food and provide energy for the body. *It also promotes healthy skin and nervous system function. *B3 has also been shown to decrease bad cholesterol levels and heart disease.
Pyroxidine (B6) – *This is essential for protein metabolism, energy production, and normal nervous system function. It is used in the breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats in the body. *It’s beneficial for weight loss, PMS, and fatigue prevention.
Methylcobalamin (B12) – This form of B12 vitamin is essential for DNA replication, nervous system function, and blood formation. It is the best and purest form of B12. It is the only form of B12 that is naturally supported by the human body without having to go through an unnecessary chemical breakdown. *It is involved in the metabolism of most cells of the body, especially affecting DNA synthesis and regulation, but also fatty acid synthesis and energy production.
L-Carnitine – *This is another lipotropic amino acid used in our MIC Plus injections and it helps to transport fatty acids into cells to be metabolized.

*Lipotropic injections may enhance your body’s natural fat-burning abilities. They work by affecting your body in three simple ways:

pinch-fat-300x1811. *Reduce the amount of stored fat that your body is holding.
2. *Enhance and Increase your metabolism to help you burn fat faster.
